Right-Click Menus

Most of SequenceSuite’s quick actions live one right-click away. This page lists every context menu in the app. Right-click works with a two-finger tap, Control-click, or a mouse’s secondary button - whatever you’re used to.

If you have several rows selected, the copy commands act on the whole selection and the menu items show the count - Copy 12 Timecodes, Copy 12 Rows, and so on. Right-clicking a row outside your selection acts on just that row.

Across the suite

Sheet, Gather, and Dupe each end their row menus with an Across the suite section - shortcuts that jump to another mode with the answer already loaded. They’re the fastest way to move between the three tools:

Sheet	Find duplicates of this clip	Switches to Dupe and shows every other use of the clip.
Sheet	Gather This Sequence’s Media	Switches to Gather showing this sequence, ready for you to review. Your Gather Plan is left as it is, and nothing copies until you say so.
Gather	Show clips using this file	Switches to Sheet filtered to every clip cut from that file.
Dupe	Gather all uses in this group	Switches to Gather showing the duplicate group’s media, ready for you to review.
Dupe	Show this use in the cut	Switches to Sheet and highlights that use at its place in the timeline. When a group has several uses, a submenu lists each one by episode and timecode.

Some jumps are greyed out when they don’t apply - for example, Gather is unavailable for sequence types that don’t carry source paths, and AAF media is gathered only, so it has no Sheet clips to show.

Sidebar - sequence rows

Right-click the Open Files heading:

Action	What it does
Close All Files	Closes everything you’ve loaded. SequenceSuite confirms first when more than one file is open; files on disk are not affected.
Remove Missing Files	Clears restored files that no longer exist at their saved paths. This only removes entries from the sidebar; files on disk are not affected.

Right-click any sequence in the Open Files list:

Action	What it does
Set as Target Episode / Clear Target Episode	Dupe mode only, at the top of the menu. Anchors Dupe’s results to this episode. Also available on a multi-track cut’s group row.
Re-parse Source	Forces a fresh read of the file from disk, ignoring the parse cache.
Rename Display Name…	Changes the label SequenceSuite uses for this sequence. The file on disk is never renamed.
Reset to Original Name	Returns to the imported name (shown only after a rename).
Edit Episode Code…	Overrides the short code (EP101, S01E02) used in Dupe pips and PDF exports.
Reset Episode Code	Returns to the auto-derived code (shown only after an edit).
Remove from this cut	For an EDL inside a multi-track cut - takes just this EDL out of the group.
Group selected EDLs as one multi-track cut…	Sheet mode, ungrouped EDLs only - combines a V1/V2/V3-style set into one cut.
Link Playout… / Change Playout…	Points this sequence at a flat playout (viewing copy) for its export thumbnails, or swaps the one already linked. Also on a multi-track cut’s group row, where it links one playout for the whole cut. See Thumbnails.
Clear Linked Playout	Forgets the linked playout (shown only after one is set).
Close Other Files	Keeps this sequence, file, or multi-track cut open and closes everything else.
Remove from Open Files	Drops the sequence from the app. Also available as the hover ✕ button, or ⌘⌫ with the row selected. This menu item works even while a file is stuck mid-load.

File and cut-group rows have the same menu with Close Other Files plus Remove File from Open Files or Remove Cut from Open Files to drop everything from that source at once.

Sheet - clip rows

Right-click any row in the Sheet table:

Action	What it does
Copy Sequence TC	The clip’s position in the sequence (the record timecode), ready to paste into an email or doc.
Copy Source TC	The source in-point.
Copy Clip Name	Just the name.
Copy Row	The whole row, tab-separated - pastes straight into a spreadsheet as columns.
Copy Total Duration	Multi-row selections only - the combined duration of the selected clips, totalled at the sequence’s frame rate.
Copy Total (frames)	The same total as a frame count.

With several rows selected, the copy commands paste one line per row, in table order.

Sheet - Reel Summary rows

Action	What it does
Copy Reel	Copies the reel name.
Show all uses of this reel	Jumps to All Reels filtered to that reel’s clips.

Sheet - File Summary rows

Action	What it does
Copy Source Path	Copies the full path to the source file.
Show clips from this source file	Jumps to All Reels filtered to every clip cut from that source.

Gather - file rows

Right-click any row in the Gather plan:

Action	What it does
Copy Source Path	The full path to the source file.
Copy File Name	Just the filename.
Copy Row	Name, path, size, and status, tab-separated.
Locate…	Relink a Missing file - see Locating Missing Files. Only enabled on Missing rows.
Exclude from Gather Plan	Unticks the selected rows and marks them to skip, so they won’t be copied. Include in Gather Plan puts them back.
Re-check on Disk	Looks for the file again right now - handy after you’ve reconnected a drive. A found file flips from Missing to Ready.
Reveal in Finder	Opens the enclosing folder. Needs the source to be online.
Copy Total Size	Multi-row selections only - the combined size of the selected files.

Dupe - result rows

Right-click any row in the Dupe table:

Action	What it does
Copy Reel	Copies the source reel name.
Copy TC	Copies the shared source timecode range.
Ignore this source in Dupe	Hides bars, slates, and other intentional repeats from all Dupe results. Manage the list in Settings → Dupe → Ignored sources.

In Dupe mode, Set as Target Episode / Clear Target Episode also leads the sidebar menus, and the active target shows as a chip in the results bar - click the chip’s ✕ to clear it without leaving the table.
