XML-Driven Gather

1. Switch to Gather mode and drop your sequence XML onto the drop zone.

2. SequenceSuite resolves each clip path. The clip list shows a green tick for found files and a red warning for missing ones.

3. Click Choose Destination and pick the output folder.

4. Click Gather to start copying.

Missing clips

Missing clips are listed in the sidebar. You can:

• Skip them and gather only what was found.
• Relink by pointing SequenceSuite at a search root — it will walk that folder looking for matching file names.

Tip

If your media is on a disconnected drive, reconnect it before gathering. SequenceSuite re-scans automatically when a volume mounts.

Copy vs. hard-link

In Copy mode, Gather duplicates the files. In Hard-link mode (same volume only), it creates hard links — instant and takes no extra space. Hard-link mode is ideal for local conform and review workflows.
