Open Settings via SequenceSuite Pro → Settings (or ⌘,). There are three tabs.
| Setting | Description |
|---|
| Appearance | Light, Dark, or System. Controls the app’s colour scheme. |
| Density | Compact, Regular, or Relaxed. Changes table row height across all modes. Cycle with ⌘D. |
| Show sidebar | Toggle the left sidebar on or off. |
| Show inspector | Toggle the right inspector panel on or off. |
| Default EDL frame rate | Frame rate assumed when importing an EDL that doesn’t embed fps metadata. |
| Show disabled clips in Sheet | When off (default), clips marked disabled in your sequence are hidden from the Sheet table. Turn on to show them with a strikethrough. |
| Startup mode | Which mode (Sheet, Gather, Dupes) SequenceSuite opens into on launch. |
| Setting | Description |
|---|
| Copy mode | Copy (duplicates files) or Hard-link (same volume only — instant, no extra space). |
| Buffer size | Internal copy buffer. Leave at default unless you have specific I/O tuning needs. |
| Overwrite strategy | Skip existing, Overwrite, or Ask. |
| Check for on-disk duplicates | When on, SequenceSuite checksums source files and skips copying any that already exist at the destination. |
| Exclusion patterns | Filename patterns to skip during gather (e.g. *.DS_Store, ._*). |
| Source access | Manage which drives and folders SequenceSuite has permission to read media from. See Source Access. |
| Setting | Description |
|---|
| Timecode tolerance | How many frames of difference is allowed when matching source clip timecodes. Default is 0 (exact). |
| Proximity range | Looser match range used for the “close match” category. |
| Fuzzy matching | When on, clip names are compared using fuzzy string similarity in addition to exact timecode matching. |
| Similarity threshold | Minimum score (0–100) for a fuzzy name match to be considered a duplicate. |
