Locating Missing Files
After scanning, any clip that can’t be found on disk is marked as Missing (shown in amber) in the Gather table. You can relink missing clips using the Locate… workflow.
Relinking a single file
Section titled “Relinking a single file”Click the Locate… button on any missing row. A folder picker opens — navigate to the folder containing the file and click Open. SequenceSuite searches that folder (and sub-folders) for a filename match and, if found, updates the row to Ready.
Relinking multiple files
Section titled “Relinking multiple files”If several missing clips share the same root folder (e.g. they’re all on a drive that was previously at a different mount point), you can relink them all at once. Select multiple missing rows in the table, then click Locate… in the toolbar. Point to the folder and SequenceSuite will attempt to resolve all selected clips against it.
When relinking doesn’t find a match
Section titled “When relinking doesn’t find a match”If no match is found, the row stays Missing. You can either skip it (missing files are skipped during the gather run) or try pointing Locate… at a different folder.
