What is SequenceSuite?

SequenceSuite is a macOS toolkit for professional editors working with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro XML, CMX 3600 / Avid EDLs, Avid AAFs, and OpenTimelineIO. It combines three purpose-built tools in a single window - Sheet, Gather, and Dupe - that all read from the same shared list of open files.

For shows on pinned Avid systems without OTIO export, use an Avid EDL for Sheet reports. SequenceSuite also reads OTIO, and AAF files are supported for Gather media collection.

The three modes

Sheet

Parses your sequence and produces structured reports - 15 in total, from a full clip inventory to per-reel sheets, file summaries, markers, transitions, effects, and graphics. Export as XLSX, CSV, or PDF, single sequence or batched across an entire series. Useful for shot lists, delivery paperwork, and editorial QC.

Gather

Reads your sequence and copies every referenced media file to a destination folder, preserving the original folder hierarchy. Built-in pre-flight checks, optional SHA-256 verification, resumable copies, missing-media relinking, Avid AAF media-inventory support, and an integrated RED camera sibling finder for R3D and its companion files.

Dupe

Cross-references clips across multiple sequences or episodes to surface re-used shots. Three match types (Exact, Partial, Proximity), an optional fuzzy name matcher, episode-target review mode, and a series-wide PDF/XLSX audit pack.

macOS requirements

SequenceSuite runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel. It is available on the Mac App Store and as a direct download from editkit.tools. Fully offline - no internet connection or account required to use the app.
