Inspector Tabs

The right-hand inspector in Gather mode has three tabs.

Plan tab

Shows the current Gather configuration before you run:

• Destination - the folder media will be copied into, with a Choose… button to change it.
• Size - selected bytes to transfer, based on the current plan.
• File counts - selected, missing, R3D Sibling, and duplicate counts.
• Run Gather - opens the pre-flight summary before copying starts.

File tab

Select any row in the Gather table to populate the File tab:

• Full source path with a Reveal in Finder button.
• File size and last-modified date.
• Status detail (Ready, Missing, Duplicate of another file, or part of an R3D sibling set).
• For R3D rows, a breakdown of the companion files in the .RDC folder - .R3D, .RTN, .WAV, .RMD, etc. - and which are present at the source.
• For AAF rows, additional Avid detail: clip category, source composition, media type, and the path as it was stored in the AAF.

Log tab

Shows a running log of the current or most recent Gather operation - files copied, skipped, verification results, and a summary line at the end. The log updates live while a Gather is in progress.

A copy of the same log is written to a timestamped .txt file at the destination root so you keep a record after closing the app.
